The base of your 501(c)(3) organization does not have to be physically located in the service area, but the proposal should be linked to activities serving CFGC communities.

  • What is the grant application and grant distribution process?

    • The CFGC limits requests and funding of individual awards to a maximum of $5000.

    • Applications must submitted no later than 11:29 p.m. on May 31.

    • The Grants and Awards Committee, composed of CFGC Board Members and Committee Representatives, reviews each proposal making recommendations for funding to the Board of Directors.

    • The CFGC Board of Directors makes the final funding decision during its August Board Meeting.

    • Funds are distributed in September to the recipients.
