The Community Foundation of Greater Clemson (CFGC) is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing sustainable financial support to local charitable organizations.
Started in 2013, CFGC serves Pickens County, Oconee County and Pendleton, SC and is governed by a Board of Trustees consisting of local leaders in our service area.
We have a permanent endowment to meet the changing needs of our community.

CFGC was created by the Leadership Clemson class of 2013 to improve the quality of life in the Greater Clemson Area. Since its beginning, the Community Foundation has been shepherded by a volunteer board of local citizens and leaders.
Originally known as the Clemson Community Foundation, we updated our name and logo in 2019 to better reflect the entire region we serve.
Today, CFGC is managed by a small, caring staff, expert financial advisors, and an involved board of directors serving the communities of Pickens County, Oconee County and Pendleton, SC.
Our mission is to develop a long term, stable source of financial and human support for charitable organizations in Pickens County, Oconee County, and Pendleton, SC.
