Your monthly gift helps build permanent charitable resources, support local nonprofits, and respond to the community's greatest needs.

The Community Foundation of Greater Clemson works to address needs across Pickens and Oconee counties and the Town of Pendleton by building lasting charitable resources, helping local organizations thrive, and offering leadership to those tackling key challenges in our region. Since its founding, CFGC has awarded more than $300,000 in grants to local nonprofits. In 2026, we are on pace to nearly double our annual grantmaking, with approximately $95,000 expected to be awarded by year’s end.

The Community Foundation of Greater Clemson holds several key roles in the community. We help residents who want to support local nonprofits and their fellow neighbors by growing and safeguarding a dependable pool of resources that our community can count on for years to come, and by providing leadership and strategic guidance to those working on local solutions.
Working with trusted financial institutions, we invest individual contributions to create general and endowed funds that support local projects and organizations. We deliver grants to local nonprofits annually and during emergencies to ensure stable growth. And finally, we offer leadership to our communities through training, connecting needs with resources, and providing nonprofit management expertise.
